In the middle of nowhere:
In the evening we took our tour-bus and left our hotel in Jelgava for a short stop in Riga (to pick up some drum-equipment) before we could continue to Ceesis. After a long drive we came to the town of Ceesis in the middle of nowhere. We felt a bit sceptical when we arrived but the place looked quite good and had some really cool advertisements done for us.
The place seemed like good place to play at but once again we hadn’t got any guitar cabinets and no sound engineer was in sight. Although, we began to put up our gear and after a couple of hours the sound engineer showed up and he managed to fix a guitar combo for us so we could do our sound-check.

Then the fun began, the place where having a disco before we were going on stage (in Sweden we’re definitely not used to mix metal events with disco), it’s hard to believe that the audience were interested in both disco and metal. After our sound-check our tour manager told us that the club owner wanted to cut 40% of payment because the club had hired the guitar combo that were supposed to be there from the beginning. He asked us if we wanted to cancel the show but we wanted to continue as planned (and after our gig he agreed to just to cut the price with 10%, still a cheap bastard). After the opening acts were done we finally got up on stage at 02:00 AM, later then anyone of us had played before. The sound where much better than the day before and so were our performance. This show ended up to be the longest of the five gigs we played so we hope that the audience in Ceesis appreciated the time we gave them.
When we were leaving Ceesis, our driver took a detour and didn’t really know how to get out of Ceesis so the time was really late or early so to speak when we got back to the hotel. Fortunately for us the next gig was in the Jelgava.
Continue to the fourth day.
