22/8 The third gig in Jelgava: After sleeping away the most of the day It was yet again time for us to prepare for another gig. As we came to Tonus we were amazed with the place, it was one of the greatest venues that we had ever played at and the backstage area was also great. As we were the only band playing that night we had the backstage area all to ourselves.  After our usual sound-check they started a disco at the place (déjà vu), so once again we were expecting an audience that weren’t into metal, (were we wrong or what)? As we entered the stage the audience stood by the walls just as we had foreseen but before we had finished our first song a group of metal maniacs had gathered at the front of the scene. After a third of the set they had got themselves a nice mosh-pit and their response really triggered us to give them a hell of a show, and so we did! In the last song our bass player even got off the stage to headbang with the audience. After the gig some people of the audience visited us backstage and got their CD’s singed and had some beers with us (these persons were really awesome, we won’t forget you). Then there was time for some partying… Continue to the fifth day.  |
