24/8
The last night in Riga:
On our last night in Latvia we were supposed to play at Saxofone in Riga.
We came as usually and rigged our stuff; the equipment that belonged to the club was by far the worst things we ever had seen in a club. But once again we were able to make it work and the sound engineer turned out to be some sort of a magician as he made this ancient music-equipment (from Russia) to sound really good.
After we had arranged everything we walked to a restaurant to have something to eat and when we got back we got ourselves a big surprise! Our opening act “Crowd” should be on stage performing but instead the place was almost empty, so the owner had decided to cancel the gig.

But we had come to play and so we did and it was a really good show that we pulled off, to bad that the audience in Riga missed out on this one as it was far better than our gig at Depo.
But at least we had great fun and those who where there seemed to have as much fun as we had to!
As we had finished the gig we took a tour in the nightlife of Riga until it was time for us to get picked up by our bus, taking us back to Jelgava. On our way back we left our singer at the airport as his plane took off in a couple of hours.
Continue to day seven.
